I've been very remiss in letting folks back home know what I've been
doing the last few weeks, my apologies!

(For those who don't know what's been going on in the last year, clues
can be found at:
http://www.wotmeworry.org.uk/bisr/report.htm with the sequel at:
http://www.wotmeworry.org.uk/ca/report.htm )

Basically there's been lots of riding in between helping Kristin with
her pet-sitting and Vespa showroom responsibilities, and very little
time to spare! Perhaps most importantly, the beer can be very good out
here, mostly bottled, some bottle-conditioned, and just occasionally
some cask-conditioned ale at the odd micro-brewery.

This is a taste of what we've been up to when we can find a few days
off:

I've found a quiet few minutes at the shop to pen this email, while
looking forward to a Mexican dinner with friends tonight and a Go-Kart
evening on Monday evening courtesy of the dealership.

I was elated how well England were doing in the Ashes until the current
Test in Perth. ARGH! Maybe we can pull something out of the bag, but
if the Aussies don't win this one there will have been some unbelievably
fantastic cricket, which I can only get via a text commentary out here.

Here's hoping you are all warm and dry, and that the continuing cold
spell is over by the time I get back in the first week of January!

So here's to a well-spent Christmas, and good things for the New Year!
