question sur le choix d'huile pour mon scooter
bonjour,je suis aller acheter de l'huile pour mon scooter en vue de la prochaine vidange chez Daffy moto et il m'on donné de la 10W40,or j'ai remarqué que sur le carter d'huile de mon scooter il y a d'inscrit : 1000CC SAE 5W40.
est ce que cela veut dire que je dois mettre impérativement de la 5W40 dedans ?
quel est le risque si je met de la 10W40 ?

En gros en France pas de bleme
juste si il fait en dessous de -20° La 5w40 sera meilleure , le reste du temps kifkif

Oui no pblm avec la 10w40, comme sur mes 125 qui à eux deux totalisent 120.000, sur l'YZF 10W40 préconisée sous nos climats. Ma BAR était gavée de 5w30 d'origine (d'un autre côté assemblée dans les Pays de l'Est), et remplacée par la 10W40 à la première vidange constructeur, elle à aujourd'hui 280.600 et le bloc semble increvable.

@Quentamel; Bonjour, ça serait sympa si tu donnais plus d'infos sur ton scooter, et sur toi par la même occasion, Tu roules pour ton plaisir, pour ton travail ? Etc.
Pour l'huile, en principe on suit les préconisations du constructeur, même si la 10w40 doit pouvoir convenir.
